Standard Music Font Layout, or SMuFL --- when?

Does anyone know when ScoreCloud might implement Standard Music Font Layout, or SMuFL? There are lots of string player symbols in that unicode format that are very useful and not yet available on ScoreCloud.

    Hi!

ScoreCloud does use the SMuFL system for music fonts, our own "ModusNotes" and the open "Bravura" are SMuFL fonts, and are available as options in the program right now.

That said, we have not implemented all functionality to support the full range of music symbols. The font system is built to include all possible current and future glyphs, and it doesn't make sense for any editor to include them all.

The symbols you are missing is probably not added because of editing, playback and development priorities. If you have examples of symbols you are missing in the program we are happy to take a look and see if we can include them in a future update!

    Hope this helps!

Hi Johan, and thank you for your reply. There are two symbols in particular that would be very helpful: Up Bow and Down Bow. I have attached a screen shot of the symbols and codes.

    Hi!

These symbols are available, by selecting a note and choosing the symbol from the top right actions panel.
