can't parse MIDI file

I have a high quality aiff of a solo I did in concert. Since SC can't yet open audio files I converted it to a MIDI file. when I try to open it in SC I get the message "can't parse MIDI file" is it me or is the conversion flakey.

    Hi!

This seems to not be a MIDI file, but a renamed audio file. The MIDI import requires a file that consists of actual MIDI data, not audio data. The file extension is not important here, but the contents of the file.

The audio in your audio file is also polyphonic, meaning that there are multiple notes at the same time, witch is not supported by the current ScoreCloud audio analysis.

To get the sheet music of this piece, play each voice of the song into the microphone using the audio recording features, or with a MIDI keyboard, in ScoreCloud Studio, and you should be able to get a transcription!

    Hope this helps!
